(COVINGTON) -- A high-rise condo complex that changed the skyline of Covington is set to open on Tuesday.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday morning marks the grand opening of The Ascent at Roebling's Bridge.
World-renowned architect Daniel Libeskind, who designed the building, was on hand for the ceremony, as well as Kentucky governor Steve Beshear.
The complex includes 70 homes and penthouses with prices ranging from $800,000 to $5.5 million. The building is 75 percent sold and was developed by Corporex, which is based in Covington.
Ground broke on the 22-story building in November 2005.
"It's not in any other place. It's here because it was inspired by the Ohio river, by this northern shore, by Cincinnati, by the colors, by the beauty of the architecture, by the bridge, which has such a striking resonance in time," said Libeskind.
