(CINCINNATI) -- A Bromley, Ky. man has been arrested for attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and importuning after he thought he was meeting a 14-year-old girl he met online.

Jonathan Brian Weiss, 28, was engaged in an Internet chat conversation on Tuesday with who he thought was the girl, but instead was an undercover Hamilton County sheriff's detective.

During the conversation, Weiss said he wanted to meet with the girl for specific sexual activity and encouraged the girl to sneak out of her house after her mother was asleep. He arranged to meet her at the intersection of Plainfield and Galbraith Roads in Cincinnati.

At about 11:20 p.m. Tuesday, Weiss arrived at the prearranged location and was immediately arrested by members of RECI. He was transported to the Hamilton County Justice Center to await arraignment.

Weiss appeared in court Wednesday morning, where he received a bond of 10 percent of $30,000, electronic monitoring and is not to use the Internet.
