(MOUNT ORAB, OH) -- Police have arrested three individuals following an incident Sunday in the 15500 block of U.S. Route 68 near Mount Orab.

Darren Martin, 39, reported that four male subjects drove to his residence and one started a fight with him. Investigation revealed the suspect used brass knuckles, causing injury to Martin's right eye.

Witnesses stated that two of the three other males that arrived went to where the fight was going on. When Martin's two children, ages 16 and 13, saw their father in trouble, they ran to help him and were assaulted as well. Martin's son received fractures in his eye area and his daughter sustained scrapes and bruises. Both children were transported to the hospital for treatment.

Police have charged three people for the incident. Kenny Brandenburg, 22, of Georgetown, is charged with felonious assault. He had to be treated at the hospital for injuries as well. The other suspects, Ryan Colyer, 24, and Tony Hicks, 38, both of Georgetown, are charged with felonious assault and assault.

It is unclear what prompted the men to assault Martin in the first place.
