(GREENFIELD, OH) -- A two-year undercover drug investigation in Highland County has led to the indictment of eight people.
A grand jury indicted the eight individuals on a total of 59 felony criminal counts involving the distribution, transport and possession of illicit drugs, including crack cocaine, cocaine and marijuana.
Police say some of the suspects are from the Dayton, Ohio area and came to Greenfield during the course of the investigation and worked with the local drug dealers for the purpose of distributing large amounts of drugs into the area.
Those indicted are: Stephanie Ford, 41, of Greenfield; Notashia Nelson, 24, of Greenfield; Byron Dunn, 25, of Hillsboro; Daniel Wallace, 24, of Dayton; Arthur Johnson, 25, of Greenfield; Thomas Peters, 27, of Dayton; Jordan Evans, 21, of Greenfield and Mario Core, 28, of Dayton.
All of these individuals have been arrested with the exception of Mario Core. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call the Highland County Sheriff's Office at 937-939-2212.
