14-Year-Old Girl Injured by Stray Bullet

(SHARONVILLE, OH) -- A 14-year-old girl was injured while she was sitting in the passenger seat of a car stopped in traffic and got hit by a stray bullet.

Police say Cameron Barrett, 23, accidently fired a civilian version of an AR-15 military rifle while he was working at a business on Hauck Road.

The bullet went about 300 feet and through the door of the car and hit her above the knee.

She is expected to be all right.

Garrett faces charges one count of assault for the incident.
