(WEST CHESTER, OH) -- The driver of a car which crashed in West Chester late Wednesday night could be facing criminal charges.
Police say alcohol and speed were factors in a crash on Crescentville Road near Mosteller shortly before midnight.
A Hyundai driven by Auner Majias-Perez, 21, of California, went left of center, sideswiped a tractor trailer driven by David Hurst, 51, of Indiana, then struck a Villager mini-van driven by Transcita Meijia-Perez, of Cincinnati.
The Hyundai and the Villager were severely damaged in the crash. Majias-Perez was taken to University Hospital. Two of his passengers, Jorge Ramos Alvarez and an unidentified Hispanic male, were both flown to University Hospital. Meijia-Perez was taken to Bethesda Hospital. All of their conditions are unknown. Hurst was not injured in the crash.
Charges are pending. The crash remains under investigation.
