(PUTNUM COUNTY, IN) -- A Cincinnati teenager had died after hitting a semi head-on with her car on Interstate 70 in Indiana.
The accident happened about 11:30 Thursday morning.
Police say Mariemont High School student Julia Donnelly, 17, was heading west on I-70 when she crossed the center line.
Witnesses say she seemed to cross the line for an unknown reason and that her driving habits didn't indicate anything suspicious. They say the semi driver, Donald Gramblin, 70, of Michigan, didn't have anywhere to go to avoid the accident. The truck came to a rest on top of Donnelly's Nissan Altima.
The truck driver had minor injuries. I-70 was shut down for nearly three hours as the Indiana State Police investigated the accident.
