(ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, OH) -- A man has been arrested after he led police on a chase through Anderson Township.
Friday morning around 3:30 a.m., an officer noticed a vehicle driven by Andrew Cunningham, 23, of Cincinnati, traveling westbound on Beechmont Ave. at a high rate of speed. When the deputy tried to stop the vehicle, the driver refused to comply and a vehicle pursuit ensued southbound on Five Mile Road, then westbound on Interstate 275. The pursuit terminated at the state line.
A short time later, the vehicle and driver were spotted by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office on Broadway Street and Central Parkway, where Cunningham was placed under arrest.
He is charged with failure to comply with a police officer, operation while under the influence and criminal damaging. Police say he intentionally rammed his vehicle into another person's parked vehicle on Pembridge Ave.
