(LEBANON, OH) -- A seven hour standoff has ended with a 72-year-old man locked up in the Warren County jail.
It started around 8:30 Monday night in a rural part of Warren County at a home on North State Route 48, near Lebanon Junior High School.
Authorities were called out when the suspect, Donald Gibson, fired shots during a fight with his family.
His wife and daughter were at the scene. When deputies got there, they were fine and standing outside. Gibson was inside with a gun and refused to come out.
The tactical team tried to talk him. Negotiations went back and forth for three to three and a half hours.
"An entry was made by the tactical team into the house, Mr. Gibson found inside he gave up. There was no resistance, no injuries," said Maj. John Newsom with the Warren County Sheriff's Office.
Gibson is being held in the Warren County Jail, charged with inducing panic and domestic violence.
