City investigates 17th homicide of 2008

(CORRYVILLE, OH) -- Cincinnati Police are investigating the city's 17th homicide of the year.

A man was found in the street around 9:30 Wednesday night at Eden Ave. and East Corry St. in Corryville suffering from a gunshot wound. He has been identified as Demetrius Taylor.

He was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police think two men are responsible. A canine unit roamed the area searching for the suspects after they took off. Police say the suspects are two black males in their 20's, both were about 5-foot-8 with thin builds. One was wearing a red shirt and the a white one.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crimestoppers at 352-3040.
