6 men arrested for lewd activities in Warren Co. parks

(DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH) -- Six local men have been arrested after an investigation between the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and the Warren County Sheriff's Office.

Both agencies had been receiving complaints of lewd activity occurring at two locations in the county - 50 Springs picnic area in Cesar Creek State Park in Massie Township and the Carl Rahe Access (formerly known as Glen Island) on the Little Miami River in Deerfield Township.

Three men were arrested in 50 Springs: Thomas Mason, 47, of Hamilton, charged with public indecency; David Schmiesing, 56, of Springboro, charged with sexual imposition and public indecency and Paul Taylor, 81, Wilmington, charged with sexual imposition.

Three others were arrested at Carl Rahe Access: Donald Lowery, 51, of Lebanon, charged with public indecency; Brian Culp, 42, of Cincinnati, charged with sexual imposition and Charles Posik, 39, of Mason, charged with sexual imposition and public indecency.

Police say contact was made with numerous other individuals at the parks that did not reach the criminal level.
