UPDATE: Police say murder victim fired shots first

(COLLEGE HILL, OH) -- 

Update: Friday, 8:40 a.m.: Police say Jerrod Mason was the one who fired shots first after he was kicked out of Shaker's.

Investigators believe Mason shot three people before someone shot and killed him.

Police are still looking for gunman who shot Mason.

Previously: A triple shooting outside of a College Hill night club leaves one man dead.

It happend around 2 a.m. near Shaker's Lounge in the 5900 block of Hamilton Ave.

Police say the victim, Jarrod Mason, 24, was standing by his SUV when the gunshots rang out. Police say he was shot in the stomach.

Two other people were also hit and police say they drove themselves to the hospital for treatment.

Investigators are trying to figure out how the three victims are connected and who was the target.

"They were not simultaneous but immediately following don't know story again homicide is on scene conducting the investigation," said Captain Russ Neville with Cincinnati Police.

Police say they are interviewing three to five witnesses who saw what happened, but so far, no arrests have been made. A handgun and several shell casings from different weapons were found at the scene.
