Police uncover thousands of counterfeit items in Monroe

(MONROE, OH) -- Police say they've uncovered hundreds of counterfeit items, including designer handbags, wallets and hats at a local flea market.

Investigators say 22 booths at Trader's World flea market in Monroe were selling the fakes to fund terrorist groups.

Officers seized nearly 900 items in a raid this weekend.

All vendors caught with those counterfeit items are now facing criminal charges.
