Independence police look for church vandals

(INDEPENDENCE, KY) -- Police are investigating a case of vandalism at a church in northern Kentucky.

Investigators say sometime between 9:45 p.m. Monday night and 6:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, someone went into St. Patrick's church on Mills Road in Independence and knocked over the church's statue of St. Patrick, shattering it to pieces.

The statue is worth at least $50,000.
