Teens accused of beating disabled girl to be tried as adults

(HAMILTON, OH) -- The two Butler County teens accused of brutally beating a disabled teen earlier this year will be tried as adults.

Prosecutors say Cheyene Blanton, 17, and Joseph Nagel, 16, broke into a Hanover Township home in February with the intention of stealing a car. But when the owner left with the car, Blanton and Nagel beat her 18-year-old daughter, shaving the girl's head, and making her walk barefoot in the snow.

They will each be held under a $1 million bond when they are transferred to adult jail.
