UPDATE: Body found in Ohio River identified

(NORTH BEND, OH) --

Update: Police have identified the body as David Hodge, 37.

The coroner's office is still trying to figure out how Hodge died. Anyone with information should call police.

Previously:

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is investigating a body found in the Ohio River.

The body of a black male was spotted by a resident of the Village of North Bend after it had washed up onto the boat landing at Indian Trail on Saturday.

Information on the identity of the victim is pending, following notification of next of kin.

Anyone with information should call Crimestoppers at 352-3040.
