UPDATE: Bond set for woman accused of beating neighbor with vacuum cleaner


Update: Dora Nance's bond was set at $350,000. The case will move to a grand jury on June 5.


A Cincinnati woman has been arrested, accused of beating her neighbor with a vacuum cleaner.

Dora Nance, 57, was arrested on Monday and charged with one count of Aggravated Robbery and one county of Felonious Assault.

According to court documents, Nance struck the 93-year-old victim on the head with the vacuum, causing lacerations and broken bones. She then removed $5 from the victim's purse after beating her.

Police say they have a taped confession from Nance.

She will be arraigned in court on Tuesday. If convicted, she could face up to 20 years in prison.
