The new stores will be the first CarMax locations in each city. CarMax currently operates two additional locations in Columbus, Ohio.

The Dayton location in West Carrollton and the Cincinnati location are both expected to open in 2009 and will provide approximately 100 jobs at each location.

The Dayton store, being built at 3555 Miamisburg-Centerville Road in West Carollton, will be 45,570-square-feet on more than 15 acres of land. The Cincinnati location, being built at 12105 Omniplex Court, will be more than 66,200-square-feet on more than 27 acres of land.

"CarMax is opening stores in growing areas like Dayton and Cincinnati throughout the country," said Tom Folliard, president and chief executive officer of CarMax.  "We are looking forward to providing people in Dayton and Cincinnati with a no-hassle, no-haggle car buying experience that goes above and beyond their expectations for exceptional customer service."
