UPDATE: Police name Mt. Healthy murder suspect

(MOUNT HEALTHY, OH) --

Update: Police have identified a suspect they believe is involved in a Mount Healthy murder.

The suspect is Jerome Dennis, 23. His last known address is 8526 Neptune Drive in Cincinnati.

A warrent has been issued for one count of aggravated murder.

Update: Police are now looking for a late 1980 to early 1990's Mazda 929, beige in color. This vehicle was observed at the scene.

Police also say the suspect was wearing a red baseball cap with "HG" on the front and "Hood Gear" on the back.

Update:  The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office has just released a sketch of a possible suspect of yesterdays murder of Alassane Diallo.  The pictures are show to the right.

Update: Police are searching for a murder suspect this afternoon after an apparent robbery and shooting in Mount Healthy.

Police responded to the HD & MD Clothing Store at 7620 around 12:35 Thursday and found the victim lying in the floor. 

The Sheriff's Office says that the victim the 35 year old owner/co-owner Alassane Diallo from Southwest Africa.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Detectives are looking for a black male, medium build, light complexion, wearing a red ball cap, white t-shirt under a red t-shirt, and dark blue jeans.  He was seen running from the store immediately after the shooting.

An unknown amount of money was taken from the register.

The Hamilton County Coroner's Office will determine the exact manner and cause of death.

This homicide remains under investigation, anyone with information is asked to call the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office at (513) 825-1500 or Crimestoppers at (513) 352-3040.

Previous Story:

At least one person has died during a shooting in Mount Healthy.

It happened around 12:30 p.m. at the Hip Hop Clothing store near the corner of Hill and Harrison. A person was shot and killed in the store during what police believe was a robbery gone bad.

There are also reports that a second person was shot chasing down the robber, but police are still investigating.
