A local doctor may not have been a doctor at all.
Now he faces charges for practicing medicine without certification.
Jack Lee Readnour, 64, of Fort Mitchell, will appear in municipal court Friday morning after his arrest on Thursday.
An investigation conducted by the Green Township police, Hamilton County Sheriff's Department and the state medical board found that Readnour was unlawfully practicing medicine at the Monfort Heights Family Clinic on North Bend Road.
Investigators raided the clinic after it was determined that Readnour did not possess the required certification to practice medicine in Ohio.
Medical equipment and records were seized and Readnour was arrested. He faces charges of Practicing Medicine Without a License and Possessing Criminal Tools.
Anyone who was treated at the clinic by Readnour is urged by police to contact a licensed physician. They can also call (513) 825-1500 and leave their name and contact information so that they may be contacted by an investigator regarding possible criminal violations that may have occurred.
Readnour is scheduled to be arraigned on Friday. He is being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
