(OXFORD, OH) -- Oxford Police have arrested Connersville, Ind. man on charges of public indecency.
Police say a female Miami University student reported that while walking on South Campus Ave. on Tuesday morning, a white male subject in a maroon Mercury motioned her over to his vehicle.
Thinking he wanted directions, the student got closer to the vehicle and found the man exposing himself to her.
The victim obtained a good description of the perpetrator's vehicle as well as a partial Indiana license plate number and immediately called police.
Police began running Indiana license plates and with the help of the Fayette County Sheriff's Ofice, a vehicle matching the description of the one used by the perpetrator was located in Connersville.
The suspect, Mark E. Biddle, was returned to Oxford for questioning, where he admitted to the crime. Further investigation also led to two additional public indecency charges against him dating back to last year and both also involving Miami University students.
Detectives say other unsolved indecent exposure cases that may be linked to Biddle.
Miami University Police have also charged Biddle with two counts of public indecency that occurred on campus.
