SCPA grad student files lawsuit against former principal

(CINCINNATI) -- A former student at the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Over-the-Rhine has filed a civil suit against her former principal, accusing him of raping her.

John R. Carlisle resigned in March, effective Aug. 1, from his job as principal at SCPA.

The suit says Carlisle acted as a predator rather than a mentor in stalking and pursuing the girl, who was a senior at the time.
