Two teens credited with quick-thinking in near drowning

(COLUMBIA TOWNSHIP, OH) -- Two local teens are being called heroes after saving a 10-year-old boy who nearly drowned in a motel swimming pool in Columbia Township.

Emergency crews were called to the Howard Johnson around 6:30 p.m. Thursday night.

Witnesses say Joseph McClure suddenly went limp while playing in the pool. That's when two teenage girls jumped in and pulled him out.

Motel guests then performed CPR on McClure until he was revived.
