(OXFORD, OH) -- A Sheriff's investigation in the death of Kevin Piskura after a police tasing has concluded that Oxford Patrolman Geoff Robinson's actions were reasonable.
The early morning disturbance which involved Piskura was outside the Brick Street Bar in Oxford on April 19th. During the incident Piskura was tased. He was transported from the scene and flown to University Hospital in Cincinnati, where he died on April 24th.
The Sheriff's Office launched an investigation which was requested by the Oxford Police Chief.
Today's report concluded that the after reviewing all information involved with the investigation that the Patrolman Robinson's amount of force did not violate the Oxford's Police Departments' Policy of Procedures.
