OAKLEY, OH (FOX19) -- A man is facing charges nearly four months after he hit a pedestrian in Oakley.
George Ewing, 71, was crossing the street near the Target store on Marburg Avenue in February when he was struck by an SUV driven by Freddie Bostic, 57.
Ewing was not in a crosswalk, but police have now charged Bostic with Ewing's death. He faces one count each of vehicular homicide and vehicular manslaughter. He will be arraigned on July 15.
Alcohol and speed are not considered factors.
