COLLINSVILLE, IL (FOX19) -- Three suspects from the Cincinnati area were the focus of a manhunt early Monday morning in Collinsville, Ill., after they fired shots at police.
FOX affiliate KTVI in St. Louis reports the suspects fired a high-powered rifle at police near Effingham, Ill. overnight, and they reportedly opened fire again on a Madison County Sheriff's Deputy around 5 a.m. Monday morning.
The three ditched a stolen black Camaro, with Cincinnati registration, in Collinsville.
All three suspects are reportedly in custody. Two have been identifed as Michael James and Simeon Moutafou, 18. The third suspect is a 13-year-old female.
None of the officers was injured.
