CLIFTON, OH (FOX19) -- The University of Cincinnati is trying something new to save its employees money.
Beginning July 7 and running through August, faculty and staff members now have the option of a four-day work week.
The school says employees can save 20 percent of their commuting costs by working four 10 hour days.
UC will evaluate the project at the end of August.
"If it turns out this is popular with employees and it turns out the service was maintained throughout the pilot project, we might look to extend this because it is a benefit to employees as gas prices are increasing," said Greg Hand, director of public relations for UC.
