'Ride the Ducks' newest tourist attraction in Cincy/NKY

NEWPORT, KY (FOX19) -- A new bus/boat is Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky's newest tourist attraction.

Beginning Wednesday, July 9, folks now have the opportunity to "Ride the Ducks."

The Ducks are modes of transportation that run both on land and in the water. They are also available in major cities such as Baltimore and Seattle.

The tours here will begin at Newport on the Levee. Tickets are $13 for adults and $10 for children and can be purchased at the Newport Aquarium. Summer hours are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The tours last about one hour, with about 25 minutes spent on the Ohio River. Highlights of the tour include:

  • World Peace Bell
  • Roebling Suspension Bridge
  • Serpentine Wall
  • Historic Riverside Drive
  • Paul Brown Stadium
  • Great American Ballpark
  • Fountain Square
  • People who are interested in the tours should call 859-815-1439 at least 24 hours in advance to ensure you get a seat on the tour of your choice.
