GOSHEN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -- A woman trying to stop an alleged burglar got more than she bargained for when she ended up getting bit and kicked by the suspect.

According to police, Stephanie Atwood was attempted to burglarized a home in the 6600 block of Earl Drive when she was spotted by a neighbor gardening in her front yard. The neighbor became suspicious when she saw Atwood knock on both doors of the home, then disappear around back. When the neighbor went to investigate, she says she found Atwood half way into the home via the window.

The witness says Atwood tried to run away and get into a getaway car. The witness tried to stop her and the two briefly struggled. Police say Atwood bit and kicked the witness in the chest.

Another neighbor called 911 and police arrested Atwood. Police say during questioning, she urinated on the holding cell floor.

Atwood is charged with one count of burglary. She is being held in the Clermont County jail.
