Pickens was in Hamilton County juvenile court court Thursday, where a judge ruled he should be tried as an adult in the murder of Francisco Rodriguez.

Also on Thursday, a second suspect turned himself in to police.

That suspect is also 17 years old. His name will not be released unless he is tried as an adult.
