DRY RIDGE, KY (FOX19) --
UPDATE: Police entered the home around 9:30 p.m. Monday night, and found Kenneth Patrick had shot and killed himself.
Police and special response teams are on the scene of a stand off at a home in Dry Ridge.
Around 9:30 p.m. Sunday night, police say they tried to serve a warrant on Kenneth Patrick, 46, of Jillian St. The warrant was a result of problems with neighbors over the weekend.
When police arrived, they found out Patrick had a gun and pulled back, then contacted the Kentucky State Police Special Response Team.
Early Monday morning, police sent some tear gas, then a dog and a robot, but both failed to make contact with the suspect.
Police say one shot was fired from the home while the dog was inside. The dog came running out, uninjured.
Police say they are sending in another robot.
