FALMOUTH, KY (FOX19) -- A Pendleton County grand jury has failed to indict a dump truck driver who was involved in a fatal accident earlier this year.
Fransisco Yulfo was behind the wheel of the truck when it hit a Pendleton County School bus on state Route 22 on May 1.
Daniel Wood, a 16-year-old student at Pendleton County High School, died in that accident.
Tests show no alcohol or drugs were in Yulfo's system at the time of the crash. Speed is to blame for the crash.
Several safety violations were found after a review of the dump truck company, XXL Trucking. The violations include lack of record keeping concerning drivers, and lack of inspections.
Wood's parents have fiiled a lawsuit against the trucking company.
