UPDATE: Corryville murder victim ID'd

CINCINNATI, OH(FOX19)-

UPDATE: The victim has been identified as Miguel Angel Deras, 27, of Norwood.  

Deras was pronounced at the scene.  He is believed to have been involved in a physical altercation just prior to the shooting.

PREVIOUSLY:

Police are investigating a shooting the left one person dead in Corryville early Sunday morning.

Around 2:30am, police responded to the 3200 block of Jefferson Avenue for a report of a shooting.

When they arrived they found that two people were shot. One person was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover. The second person died from their injuries.

The names of the victims have not been released.

So far, no suspects have been named.

Police are investigating the incident and asks anyone who has information to call Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040.
