BATAVIA, OH (FOX19) -- The grandmother of a fugitive who eluded police for a month has been indicted for obstruction of justice.

Police say Judith Frye, 70, provided assistance to her grandson, Christopher Crosby, while he was on the run.

Crosby was scheduled to be sentenced in Clermont County for a home evasion on June 12, but he escaped custody and was on the run until he was finally caught on July 26. He is currently being held on a $1.4 million bond.

A summons has been presented to Frye to appear in court on Aug. 7 for an arraignment and bond hearing. She faces five years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine.
