FOREST PARK, OH (FOX19)- A store owner is arrested after police say his establishment was selling marijuana to children.
Forest Park began an investigation on the Promenade Beverage located at the 1100 block West Kemper Road in Forest Park. The reason for the investigation stems from several complaints of drug activity in the business including selling marijuana to kids.
Officials say the discovered the business was selling marijuana from the front counter. They also found that the store was selling beer and wine without a liquor licence for a year.
During the search warrant police arrested the store owner, Michael Tipton. He is charged with Drug Trafficking, Drug Possession, Weapons under Disability, and various liquor and cigarette violations.
