UPDATE: Three arrested after clerk shoots at attempted robbers

SAYLOR PARK, OH (FOX19) -- A store clerk in Saylor Park took matters into his own hands to stop a couple of robbery suspects.

Police say a clerk at a Sunoco gas station fired shots at two young men who stole a case of beer just before 11 p.m. Sunday night.

No one was hit, but at least one person in a getaway car was hit by broken glass. The injuries were minor.

Three people have been arrested. Larry Clay, 19, Joshua Brauer, 19 and Joseph Phillips, 20, all face charges of theft. Their vehicle was recovered on Monitor Ave. shortly the theft with a shattered rear window. Brauer and Phillips faces charges of receiving stolen property after police say the car was stolen.
