ALL Occasion party Dip

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp.  of each
    • garlic salt
    • dill seeds
    • parsley flakes
    • Beau Monde seasoning
  • 3 TBL.  diced onions

Mix all together and refrigerate overnight!!!  Can  be  used  with  breads  and  veggies!!!!


  • 1 TBSP. active dry yeast
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1 TBSP. sugar
  • 5-1/2  cups flour
  • 2 tspn. salt

In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast in the water, which should feel pleasantly warm when dropped on the wrist.  Whisk in the sugar. Add 2  cups  of the flour into the bowl. Whisk the mixture well, then let it ''proof'' , or sit it 10 minutes.  If tiny bubbles appear and the batter looks slightly expanded, you're on the right track.

Stir in the salt, then add the remaining flour, 1 cup at a time.  Turn the dough onto a lightly floured countertop.  Knead for ten minutes.

Place the dough ball in a lightly oiled  bowl.  Cover  with a damp cloth  or plastic wrap and let the dough rise in a draft free area for 1 to 2 hours,  or has doubled in size!  Punch the dough down .

Cut the dough into proper sizes according to the object being made  and knead the air bubbles out again.  Put the pieces together like a puzzle very close to each other  in a greased, deep  baking pan  and apply egg wash (1 egg and 2 TBLS water  whisked together)  to  the top of the bread with a pastry brush..Cover the pan with plastic again   and let rise for about 45 minutes.

Bake at  400 degrees for about 30 minutes  until golden brown.
