The Nestle Prepared Foods Company out of Mt. Sterling, Ky, is recalling over 200,000 pounds of frozen Hot Pocket Sandwiches. They announced today that the Hot Pockets contain foreign materials.
Here are the Following Products being recalled:
54-ounce, 12-pack cartons of "Hot Pocket Pepperoni Pizza" brand stuffed sandwiches.
Printed on the side of the carton is 8157544614D, EST 7721A, and Best Before JAN2010.Each Carton has the USDA mark of inspection.
Those Hot Pockets were produced on June 5th and distributed to retailers nationwide.
The problem was discovered after the company received numerous complaints. Food Safety and Inspection service reports that they have not received ant complaints or reports of injuries at this time.
