Arrest Made in Fatal Local Hit and Run

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19)- Police have made an arrest in a fatal hit and run accident that killed a local woman early Friday morning.

     Police say they have arrested 32- year-old Michael Moore of Avondale.    

Around 1:00am on August 22, police say 29-year-old Candace Mason was crossing Reading Road when she was struck by a vehicle. After Mason was hit, the driver of the vehicle continued driving. She died at the scene. 

Michael Moore was arrested and charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident. Additional charges are pending.

Police are countinuing to investigat the accident and are asking any witnesses to contact the Traffic Unit at 513- 352-2514.
