Teen dies in Williamsburg Township accident

WILLIAMSBURG TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -- One person has died in an accident in Williamsburg Township.

It happened at the intersection of state route 276 and Half Acre Road in Clermont County at 6:30 a.m. Friday morning.

Police say a Pontiac Grand Am driven by Christopher Kasarcik, 19, of Georgetown, ran a stop sign while turning left onto SR 276, and was hit by a semi truck driven by Timothy Hansford, 36, of Goshen.

Kasarcik was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say he was not wearing a seatbelt.

Hansford was not injured and refused treatment at the scene.
