FRANKLIN COUNTY, IN (FOX19) -- A local sheriff has found himself on the other side of the law, accused of drunk driving.
Indiana State Police say a trooper stopped a red Jeep Liberty in Franklin County, Ind. for driving erratically.
Turns out the driver of of the Jeep was Franklin County sheriff Dale Maxie.
Maxie's now charged with misdemeanor drunk driving, with bond set at $2,500.
