CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -- The trial of a man accused of impregnating a 10-year-old girl has been delayed yet again because the defendant wants a new attorney.
Jury selection was supposed to begin Tuesday in the case of Michael Chaffer. He is accused of raping his girlfriend's 10 year old daughter, causing her to get pregnant.
This is the third time the trial has been delayed. A judge set a date of Sept. 18 to hold a hearing to get Chaffer a new attorney.
At least a dozen GOP senators have openly said they oppose or criticized Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's legislation, which he's revised as he's hunted Republican support.
President Donald Trump's son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner will return to Capitol Hill Tuesday for a second day of private meetings with congressional investigators.
An 18-year-old man is dead in what Cincinnati police say appears to be an accidental shooting.
Officials say nearly 20 other people rescued from the back of the rig early Sunday were hospitalized in dire condition, many with extreme dehydration and heatstroke.
