HEBRON (FOX19) -- Hundreds of volunteers are participating in an event that takes place only once every three years.
The Greater Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport is conducting a huge disaster drill Friday morning.
A simulated collision betweeen two DHL planes will injure 120 people. The volunteer "victims" are each given a card stating their injuries, and will be taken to area hospitals.
The Federal Aviation Regulation requires that CVG conduct this full-scale drill once every three years. Several fire departments and Medical Assistance Teams from across the Tri-State will be participating.
