Accident in Hamilton turns fatal

HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) -- Police are continuing to investigate a deadly accident that happened Thursday afternoon in the city of Hamilton.

Around 5:20 p.m., Hamilton police responded to the 1300 block of Main Street for a report of an accident between a vehicle and a motorcycle.

During the investigation officers revealed that the vehicle was entering the road from a private driveway and failed to yield to the right of way of a motorcycle.

Hamilton emergency crews responded to the scene and requested Air Care to transport the motorcyclist, but the victim was already pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as 62-year-old Marvin Hurly of Cincinnati.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured and was released from the scene.
