UPDATE: Pregnant woman dies in St. Bernard fire

ST. BERNARD, OH (FOX19) --

UPDATE:

FOX19 has confirmed that a pregnant woman has died in a fire in St. Bernard.

Firefighters say the woman could have jumped from a second story window, but chose not to because of her pregnancy.

Her body was recovered inside the home.

Investigators believe the home was without power, and therefore, the residents were using candles, igniting the flames.

Investigators have not yet released her name.

PREVIOUSLY:

A woman has been reported missing in a fire in St. Bernard.

The fire broke out in the 4400 block of Leonard Ave.

FOX19 has a crew on the scene and has learned a woman inside the home has gone missing. It's too soon to say if anyone is hurt.
