Brothers charged with multiple thefts in Batavia

BATAVIA, OH (FOX19) - The Clermont County Grand Jury has indicted two brothers who are linked to multiple thefts in Batavia and Monroe Township.

Investigators say that 33-year-old Chris Montgomery and 28-year-old Eric Montgomery have a total of 90 charges against them including Breaking and Entering, Vandalism, and Theft.

The pair is accused of damaging or stealing large air conditioner units from the roofs of buildings. Over 100,000 dollars worth of damage was caused by the Montgomery brothers.

Some of the businesses and organizations that were involved included Clermont Senior Services, YMCA, Christian Child Care, Sam's Food Mart, And Acreo Inc.

Clermont County will be providing information Union and Miami Township Police and Milford Police. They believe that the thefts may have happened in the surrounding areas and could lead to further charges.
