Cincinnati firefighter charged with domestic violence

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Cincinnati firefighter has been charged with domestic violence.

Court records show Paul Kroeger, 54, of Northbend, was involved in an altercation on Sept. 2. The victim did not report  the incident until Sept. 18 and Kroeger was arrested on Saturday, Sept. 20.

According to court records, the victim states Kroeger grabbed her by the wrists, forced her into the kitchen and broke her cell phone.

"He threatened me that if I thought he had been evil up to now, I hadn't seen anything yet," she wrote in an affidavit.

Kroeger appeared in court Monday morning and was released on his own recognizance. He was ordered to stay away from the victim and he will be in court again on Oct. 15.
