Fire at vacant building causes $80,000 in damage

PRICE HILL, OH (FOX19) - A fire at a vacant building in Price Hill Tuesday morning caused $80,000 in damage.

The one-alarm fire broke out around 1 a.m. in the 3500 block of Latham Ave.

When crews arrive, the two story dwelling was fully engulfed in flames. Due to the large amount of fire showing, the incident commander ordered firefighters on the scene to the fight this fire defensively from the exterior.

Fire units remained on the scene for approximately two and one half hours. There were no reported injuries to firefighters or civilians. There were no operating smoke detectors in the building.

The Cincinnati Fire Department's Fire Investigation Unit is investigating this fire the cause is currently listed as "Undetermined".
