Police look for Boone Co. stabbing suspect

WALTON, KY (FOX19) - The Boone County Sheriff's Department is looking for a suspect following a stabbing in Walton.

It happened just before 5 a.m. in the 200 block of Deertrace.

Deputies arrived to find the resident Tammy Marksberry, 37, and her 16 year old son had received cuts to the face and back. These injuries are not believed to be life-threatening injuries. Both were transported to St. Luke West Hospital by Florence Fire/EMS.

After an extensive search on the ground with Boone County Sheriff's Canine as well as an aerial search with the assistance of the Hamilton County Sheriff's Aviation Unit, the suspect was not located.

Sheriff's Deputies are currently seeking warrants for the arrest of Jay J. Clark. His last known residence was School House Road in Cincinnati.
