UPDATE: Skeletal remains found in South Fairmount earlier this week have been identified.
The Hamilton County Coroner's Office says the remains are that of Tina McDonald, 36. She was reported missing on May 3, 2008 by family.
Police are investigating her death as a homicide.

The Cincinnati Police Homicide Unit and the Hamilton County Coroner's Office are investigating the discovery of skeletal remains found in South Cumminsville.
The remains were found in a wooded area at the corner of Linden Street and Grove Street by a dog. A search of the wooded area by homicide personnel and the coroner's office uncovered a skull and numerous other bone fragments.
